Welcome to the Writers on the River home page. Writers on the River is an organization for writers in Benton County, Oregon or any adjacent county. Membership is absolutely free!
About WotR
Writers on the River was founded in 2009, by a small group of local writers. These people hoped to create a way for local writers to find critique groups, general writing groups or even a reading group. It is also hopes to help writers keep up with local and general news concerning writing events, the pusblishing of local writers, readings and other writing related information. Membership is free and meetings take place on the Second Sunday of each month at 2:00 pm. These meetings will be announced on the home page. Membership Members may, but are not obligated to, attend meetings, participate in the forums, use the Writers Directory, have their profile posted on the Profile Page, be updated about writing events, readings, contests and other general news via the email list. The next meeting is to take place on the 13th of September at 2:00pm at Old World Deli in downtown Corvallis. This site is under construction. Thank you for being patient with us.
Becoming a member is easy! Simply send an email to: wotrcorv@gmail.com. Be sure to include your name and answers to the Profile questions. These will be posted on the Profile Page. Or, attend one of our monthly meetings to fill out a membership form! These meetings are held on the Second Sunday of every month at 2:00.
